Valhertz I'm an aspiring comic book writer who wants to make an Astro Boy series for IDW. Do I pitch it first or do I write the script for the comic book first?
Honestly I don't know how IDW selects their writers. Maybe you could contact them somehow, maybe going to some convention and submit them your script. Sorry, I know, it is not a great tip...
